Would you like to take on a stimulating, high-impact challenge?  We are looking for a Coordinator, Benefits & Payroll. Please note that the candidate may be based in one of our 3 offices: Montreal, Quebec City or Ottawa. 

 

The role

 

Reporting to the Director, Global Compensation, you will play a key role in the administration and management of benefits and payroll within the organization. More specifically, you will be responsible for administering benefits programs, proposing, and improving current processes, managing the disability program and much more.

 

The responsibilities

 

  • Act as a resource person for the Talent and Culture team in matters of benefits.
  • Follow up on payments and perform monthly and annual reconciliations.
  • Reconcile and administer all data related to CNESST, vacation and time banks, group insurance and pension plan.
  • Validate and enter payroll and benefits data into systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for managers and employees for all benefit-related requests.
  • Carry out the benefits presentation to all new employees.
  • Implement tools and procedures to ensure the integrity of our information and data.
  • Work closely with the various teams at insurers and external partners.
  • As required, provide support in the following tasks: job postings, welcoming new employees, keeping organization charts up to date, etc.

 

The requirements

 

  • College diploma in human resources, administration or office automation. A combination of relevant skills, education and experience may also be considered.
  • At least three (3) years' relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Bilingualism required (French and English).
  • Thoroughness and diligence.
  • Excellent management of priorities and sense of autonomy.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential data.
