The role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of the stakeholder engagement platform (Borealis), including ensuring data quality used to inform and document our stakeholder relations. Reporting to the Manager, Market and Data Intelligence, the Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the analysis of existing data, identifying data quality problems and making appropriate modifications. This person will need to be able to work in a changing environment, show initiative, discernment and confidentiality. A keen eye, meticulousness and analytical skills are essential qualities.
The responsibilities
System Management and data quality
- Daily monitoring of system performance and support in identifying suboptimal operation.
- Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, gaps and human errors to ensure accuracy.
- Correct anomalies, remove duplicates and reconcile data sources to maintain a clean and reliable database.
- Apply established nomenclature and operational standards to ensure data consistency.
- Verify data consistency and integrity, identifying problems that could compromise future data quality.
- Document data cleansing processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility of actions taken, while limiting future errors or anomalies.
Training and support
- Provide individual or group training to employees and consortium users to ensure optimal use of the system.
- Provide technical support to employees and consortium users and help them resolve system-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that stakeholder engagement efforts are aligned with Alto’s goals and objectives.
- Support opportunities for continuous improvement of stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Assist the team in the production of reports and dashboards.
- Participate in the development of best practice documentation for data entry.
The requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Information Science, or Data Analytics. A graduate degree in these fields would be an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis. Experience with Stakeholder Engagement would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Client Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, experience with Borealis Stakeholder Engagement System would be an asset.
- Proficiency of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience in data management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bilingualism in English and French (spoken and written), Level BBB or equivalent.
