Would you like to take on a stimulating, high-impact challenge? We are looking for a Sharepoint Developer. Please note that the candidate may be based in one of these 4 offices: Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Québec.
The role
As a SharePoint Developer, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance our data management, collaboration tools, and analytics platforms, ensuring seamless integration across the organization.
The responsibilities
- Design, develop, and provide support of M365, Teams and SharePoint solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Strong experience with site development and permission structures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide custom solutions in the Office 365 environment leveraging SPFx, SharePoint API, Microsoft Graph API.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the M365 environment.
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support to ensure optimal use of M365 systems.
- Directly engage with clients to assist the implementation of analytics solutions, ensuring a successful user experience.
- Produce and maintain Power BI reports.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of M365 technologies (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform and SharePoint).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Connectors, SharePoint Central Admin, and Data Governance best practices.
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell, and .NET Frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing Data Governance best practices, including developing and enforcing data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security, while promoting compliant data usage and management.
- Proficiency writing SQL queries and programming including stored procedures and reverse engineering existing process.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of AZURE DEVOPS.
The requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience providing SharePoint solutions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Power Platform
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with a BI tool preferably Power BI.
- Ability to manage and execute enterprise level projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex software issues.
- Detail orientated.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to attain or currently hold Canadian Federal Government clearance at the Secret level.
