The role 

 

We're looking for a passionate and creative marketing advisor to join our brand management and market intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in traditional local and regional advertising primarily for the Ontario market, understanding stakeholders, collaborating with influencers, as well as producing communication materials. This role is essential to strengthen our local presence and develop effective marketing strategies.

 

The responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute integrated media plans that maximize engagement with target audiences using a combination of traditional and digital media.
  • Develop and implement targeted advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and raise awareness of field studies, public speaking and other activities, both locally and regionally.
  • Develop and implement innovative creative media strategies to increase brand visibility and effectively engage local and regional audiences.
  • Understand relationships with internal and external stakeholders, local partners and suppliers, and work collaboratively with the team that manages them.
  • Design and produce a variety of communication materials, such as brochures, posters, digital content and videos, to support marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Monitor industry activities and local market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Manage promotional materials, defining needs with teams.
  • Identify and collaborate with local influencers and manage these partnerships effectively.
  • Coordinate marketing projects from A to Z, respecting deadlines and budget.

 

The requirements

 

  • Degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Significant experience in local advertising, primarily in Ontario.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingualism required.
  • Creativity and ability to innovate marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario media market.
